Appearance:
Koti is pretty tall and lean. He stands at a full 6'2" and has a thin, lanky build. Though he appears lanky, he has a steady layer of lean muscle to balance him out. He has a fair complection with a slight tan from being outside a lot. It is just a light tan, hardly noticable unless up close. He has dirty blonde hair with dark brown roots that is short, but the back reaches the base of the back of his neck. His bangs are usually spiked up and fringe slightly, but most of the time they are worn down. His bangs are not long and touch the middle of the bridge of his nose. He has pale blue eyes that could almost be called silver in certain lighting. His style usually consists of loose fitted shirts and jeans. He doesn't dress like someone who would be around horses. What with band shirts, faded jeans and boots or skater shoes. He dresses more like someone who just walked off the streets of New York. He has a sort of punkish style that contrasts his personality.

History [must be at least 2 paragraphs, at 7 sentences each]:
Dakota was the first of two sons born to Jason and Samantha Mathis. He was born in Melbourne, Australia. But he came to America when he was only two. A year later his brother was born. Dakota was born with a heart condition which involved surgery since doctors believed he wouldn't last more than six months. So he now has an artificial artery since the one that was there didn't function and caused problems. He grew up on a ranch that was owned by his father. The ranch was centered around training and rehabilitating abandoned or neglected horses. His father rescued them, his mother, being a vet, treated them. Dakota and his brother fed and groomed the horses, while also helping training and rode them. Dakota loved the ranch, but he spent his time in town where he went to normal schools. He graduated high school and was put to work full time, breaking horses. His father taught him tricks and would send the new arrivals to Dakota. The ranch picked up on bringing in wild horses to control the population. If they were too much, they would send them back.
He worked at the ranch until he was eighteen and graduated high school. He then left home to branch out on his career of training and breaking horses. He moved to Brooke Haven, Montanta where he had heard of a place called Willow Brooke. A place that trained troubled teens to care for horses. He arrived in town and put in to work at Willow Brooke and within a week or two he was hired. He now works doing the same job he did back home, training and breaking horses. He has been at Willow Brooke for two years now.

RP Sample [must be 3 good paragraphs]:
Out of old habit, Dakota had been up at five in the morning. That's what growing up on a ranch does to someone. He carefully lifted his head off the pillow. He had been laying on his stomach, arms tucked under the pillow and face buried. He rubbed the sleeps from his pale blue eyes and looked the window. He smirked and as he caught the first light of morning. He then pushed himself up on his knees and stretched out his entire body. He ran a hand through his messy, musky blode hair. It had fallen flat and his bangs, which usually spiked up, now fell in his eyes. He frowned and got off the bed, wandering into the connecting bathroom. He took a quick shower and brushed his teeth. He then left the bathroom and changed into a dark graphic t-shirt and a oair of faded jeans.
He fixed his hair into the usual messy, spiked in the front fashion, then grabbed his boots. He tugged them on and left the room. He walked out in the kitchen and made him some toast. He glanced at the calander, then jumped when he heard a sharp hissy. He turned his gaze to the window sill above the sink and smirked. He had just recently adopted two new animals. Another dog and a cat. The cat, Vossle. Didn't exactly take well to Dakota, nor anyone. He simply laid on the wimdow sill and watched what was outside. He sighed and picked up the toast when it popped up and went to make sure Vossle had food, along with Jax and Maxx. Speaking of the two, he needed to find them. Back home the ranch used dogs as well as horses to train and do ranch work. Today would be no different, except they were not on the ranch anymore.
Dakota walked toward the door and opened, giving a sharp whistle. In minutes, a fully sized red merle Australian Shephered slid into the room. Dakota smiled and looked around. "Where's, Maxx, Jax?" He asked. Then he heard footsteps coming down the hall. A ble merle australian shephered that wasn't eevn one year old, came trotting into the roon. "Come on, Guys...and girls." He announced, looking sheepishly at Maxx. He then left the house, the dogs in tow. He got in his truck and pulled out of the apartment driveway. He drove to Fantasy Bridge and parked. He got out and noticed someone was in the round pen. He opened the tailgate and let the dogs get out as he tried to figure out who was in the pen. He made his way over and leaned against the wall. Being six foot two, he only had to go up a little on the tip of his toes to see over the wall.
His eyes widen as he watched the sable dun colt run around the pen. He grinned and looked for the owner. He found him at one side of the pen. "What a gorgeous horse." He mused, just loud enough and sudden enough to spook the colt. He backed off from the wall and grinned sheepishly. Jax and Maxx had taken to sniffing the pen, obviously smelling the horse. He then walked to the gate as the horse's owner asked who was out there. "It's just me. Sorry, I didn't mean to spook your horse." Dakota replied, rubbing the back of his neck. Dakota was never really good at social situations, well he was he just had a problem with finding the right thing to say. And he wanted to be a teacher, how much fun would that be? Lots, lots of fun. Note, the sarcasm here.
