Grace had took off in the heat of the night. She had her supplies. She had her knives, everything she needed or thought she needed. She wasn't going to let anyone affect her. Grace continued to walk though she hoped for someone to come and pick her up. Though being this close to the road was sort of scaring her. Grace was strong, a fighter and was capable of holding her own. She wasn't going to let her fear take over her body. She wasn't going to let fear overwhelm her and make her hide.
Grace continued to go, then finally she broke out into a run when she thought she saw a cop car. She didn't need to chance to get busted. She just wanted to get away. Then finally a nice person stopped, she hitched of course, but not without paying them first. It was something Grace slowly adjusted too. The road was long, it was never stopping. Soon she was out and in a another town. One she hadn't a clue where she was. She held her money in her purse now.
Slowly entering into a diner, she payed for her food, ate, and then thought about where she was going to go next. She prayed no one would knew where she was. She prayed that no one would look for her. She wanted to be out there on her own. She wanted to be safe from others. She wanted to be safe. She felt a little bit safe now, but she also felt so d*mn dirty. It was nasty to be dirty. She rubbed her arms now after that meal she felt very tired. So she got up out of the booth and made her way into the bathroom.
Resting on the couch they had in the main waiting room. She slept for a while. Then she glanced around trying to register where she was again.
