She smiled, she had to think about it for a while. She cocked her lips to one side as her eyes floated to the ceiling thinking if she would actually attend a cooking class. That was something she would never do alone, but Mark gave her confidence. When she was with him, even though she didn’t believe highly of herself, she felt like she could do things. He helped her become the riding instructor she was today. She enjoyed spending time with him. ”Well, we will see if your father is ever approved to come back to work. If so, then maybe me and you will sneak off one day to learn how to cook something,” she suggested it thought behind the suggestion. She knew he probably wouldn’t be able to go off with her to a cooking class if he was working as hard as he had been lately. She hadn’t even seen him out at the barn. She just hoped it got easier on him soon. She really wished she could help him out somehow.
When he told her it was nothing she needed to worry about she took his word for it. She wasn’t about to pry at his business. She hadn’t ever been nosy, she just called him out on lies when he was lying. But he just didn’t want her to know, he had a right to not want her to know some stuff. She already knew most of the stuff that went on in his life, she knew him fairly well. So, one or two things weren’t about to bother her at all.
She smiled when he said he liked her calling him hun. She hadn’t ever thought about it before. She just did it as a little pet-name. She liked calling him hun because she didn’t usually get to call people hun. She had heard it on a TV show one time and thought it was a sweet little thing to call people that you knew. She wasn’t about to go around calling strangers it though. ”Really?” she stretched the word out over her tongue as she spoke it. It was a sarcastic question that didn’t need an answer, but he had already brought out her playful side so why not continue it?
Onion rings. She looked at the platter as he scooted it toward her. They were delicious, she wasn’t quite sure how she had lived so long without knowing of these wonderful things. She bit down on her second onion ring and felt the taste tingle among her taste buds. Her taste buds came to life in a dance inside her mouth. She smiled at him sweetly as she looked at the place. ”I wouldn’t want to eat all your onion rings.” She said flirtatiously as she pushed the plate back toward him. Hoping to maybe start a little game. This was definitely a fun first date, she was having fun just coming to a diner with him.

He let out a snort of amusement. "It may be a while before the doctors give an okay." He frowned at the thought and sighed tiredly, staring at the onion rings and his beer thoughtfully. He took a swig of the beer before setting it down. "I'm probably going to pick up more of the office work once the doctor approves Dad to go back to work." He said, looking up to Lucy. He didn't want to, but he needed to. He realized just how much his dad needed a little time out of the office like Mark did, and he was going to make more of an effort to help Jared get out and get a little trail time with Storm. He glanced out the window to Storm and Dotty, watching as they just stood at the hitching post, content to relax and graze while they waited.
He laughed at her and shook his head gently as he got himself another. "I don't mind. I can always order more." He was enjoying himself. He hadn't realized just how much he needed a little time out of the office. He nudged the the plate back towards her with a playful grin. He looked up when he saw Annie coming there way with their orders. He watched as she quickly put Lucy's order in front of her and then set the large burger and curly fries in front of Mark. He gave a soft thanks and asked for some water. He looked to Lucy, smiling gently. He started setting up his burger, loading it down with mustard, mayo and ketchup before he put the bun over the melted swiss cheese and mushrooms and the beef patty, squashing it down. "Okay... so.. you've got one like mine. Swiss cheese and mushroom melt. Then you've got the barbecue. It's really good. It's got barbecue sauce and french fried onions on it. Then you've got the BLT. And last but not least. Their five cheese cheeseburger." He said gesturing to each of the little mini burgers before he looked up to Lucy with a grin as he reached for an onion ring.

She gave a weak smile as he said it would be a while. She understood him wanting to help his father and everything afterward, but today had made her realize how much she missed hanging out with him and couldn’t wait to do it again. ”Well as long as you know if I can help with anything I will. I’ll be your little assistant.” She really wanted to help him with something, just let him not take all the stress he was getting. She wanted to just help him relax the way she knew she could. If she took some of the stress off him it would help, sure she had taken an extra riding lesson of his so he could do the office work, but she loved to do that. She absolutely loved to teach kids, even the bratty smart ass ones, how to ride. Riding was her hobby and she could manage doing that for a living. She didn’t understand why Mark had to be the only one to take the heat though. He was already stressing enough about his father possibly not getting better, it would obviously be helpful if Lucy could take care of some of the excess work.
She looked at him as he shoved the plate toward her. Taking an onion ring off it she shoved it back toward him. ”Well then we both would have eaten a plate of onion rings and that wouldn’t be healthy. I rather just eat off your rings, but in order for them to be yours, I can’t eat all of them.” She was definitely flirting with him now. She liked him, a lot. He was nice, sure she wasn’t completely sure she could trust him and every time he took a drink of that beer it made her feel awkward and uncomfortable. But he wasn’t being any meaner; he was just being his old self. The beer honestly didn’t affect him much, not at all like her dad.
Her eyes widened as she looked at the plate of burgers, she wasn’t sure she could eat all of those. ”Well I promised you I would eat some of each, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to eat them all.” She was sure she wouldn’t ever be able to eat all that meat. It was just too much for her. Lucy grabbed for a mozzarella stick and nibbled on it as she decided what to go after first. She picked up the barbeque burger and brought it close to her mouth. ”Here we go,” she said quietly, more to herself than Mark. She stuck the burger into her mouth and her eyes shut. She didn’t like it, not at all. ”Hmm, not that one.” She said after she finished swallowing the burger. She wasn’t a big fan of meat, and after that burger it made her not want to try the other ones. She set it down on her plate and looked at the other burgers waiting for her to pick one and take a bite out of.

"You're helping by helping the kids, Lucy. You don't want to be stuck doing all that paper work. I promise. " He didn't want her to do all that work. She had a life. She didn't need to be wasting it all on helping Mark with the paper work. She didn't need to be cooped up in the office like Mark was, so he wasn't going to let her do it. She had enough work by taking over one of his classes.
A soft rumble of a chuckle escaped his throat at her flirting manner. It was nice to see her all flirty like this. It was a side no one really ever saw. He nudged the plate back to her playfully. "But you may not like the burgers, so I don't mind if you eat more of them than me." He gave her a big, boyish grin as they sat there, pushing the plate back and forth. He snatched up another and bit into it, letting out a content sigh. Man.. this was the life. He was at his favorite place to eat, with his favorite food, a good beer, and a pretty girl. This day was definitely going to end of a different note than he first suspected.
He watched her for a moment with a grin as she tried the first one. He gave a light shrug before he cut his gigantic burger in half and lifted one piece to his lips. "Yeah... that one is sort of an acquired taste." He gave a little grin to her before he took a bite out of his burger. He wasn't going to sit there and hover over her as she tried them. If she liked any of them, then okay. If not it was no big deal. She still had the mozzarella sticks and curly fries, and he wouldn't mind sharing the onion rings.

She smiled at him and rolled her chocolate brown eyes. He just didn’t get it, she wanted to help him. She wanted to spend time with him. Why was that so hard for him to understand. She was going to try to make it more obvious for him to understand. ”But if I help you out, we can both get out of there sooner and enjoy our horses more.” She said with a smile. She really did like him; she enjoyed spending time with him. Today had been nice so far and she was having the most fun she had had ever in her life. This one guy had made her the happiest she had ever been.
She looked at him as he told her to eat the onion rings. ”Then again, I may fall in love with the burgers and don’t want to ruin my appetite” She said after practically inhaling an onion ring before sliding it back across the table to him. She felt her bum go numb and went to reposition herself, her foot slowly brushed against his gently. She hoped he wouldn’t mind. She heard about playing footsies but she had always found it kind of weird. She found a lot of stuff about dating weird, she just didn’t know what to think about it in general. She hadn’t ever had a boyfriend before.
She scrunched up her nose at him smiling. ”Yeah I guess,” she said with a smile at him. She picked up the mini-version of his burger. He seemed to be enjoying it, so she thought maybe she would as well. She was hesitant to eat it but went ahead and took a bite after washing the taste of the other one out of her mouth with a sprite. She liked it, surprisingly. Not better than the salad she had ordered, but not nearly as bad as the other one she had shoved into her mouth. ”This one’s ok,” she said smiling for him as she set it down then went ahead and took another mozzarella stick and took a big bite of it.

He smiled faintly and shook his head weakly. "No, I would be the one getting out earlier. You don't need more work added to your day." This was one thing he definitely insisted upon. She didn't need more work. She already had more with the class that she took over in his place.
He laughed and took an onion ring, dipping it in the ketchup before he nibbled on it. He pushed the tray back to her with a big, playful grin. "How could you ruin your appetite on onion rings?" He asked teasingly and he nudged the plate back to her. He watched her curiously when he felt her foot brush up against his. A slow smile rose on his lips and his foot very cautiously moved towards hers, brushing it along the side of her foot. He gave her a little grin, a playfully mischievous twinkle in his deep blue eyes. He hoped she wouldn't take it the wrong way. He didn't want her thinking that sex was all that was on his mind. He liked her, and in more than just a sexual way. She was very gorgeous. He wouldn't deny that, but he wasn't going to jump into bed her. He was willing to move at her pace. That's how much she meant to him.
He smiled at her when she found a burger she approved of. Even if it wasn't one hundred percent approval. It was a start. He looked back to his burger and smothered a fry in ketchup before he ate it then took another bite from his burger. Well, at least there was one burger she might eat again. He would have to see how she liked the other two as well. He picked up a mushroom that fell from the burger and popped it into his mouth."Slowly but surely I'm turning you." He said with a playful grin before he took another bite from his burger.

Lucy smiled at him, she just didn’t want to be too obvious. She didn’t want him to get the wrong signal form her. Even though he knew her, it didn’t mean he didn’t want sex. All men wanted sex, and even though the topic hadn’t ever come up between the two of them, she highly doubted he was a virgin. Lucy wished she could say she was a virgin; sadly her father had taken that right away from her before she even knew the importance of the word. She really wanted to blurt out at him ’you dumby! I’m hinting more time for us!’ But she figured that would be not very nonchalant, so she didn’t want to as well. ”Well I’m sure Ace and Justice would much rather prefer if both of them ran together rather than alone.” She said with a smile on her lips, hoping she would get her point across to him eventually and get him to give in. Why was he being so persistent of her not working more? Wasn’t she allowed to be helpful?
She smiled at him and rolled her chocolate brown eyes. She wasn’t sure how they could ruin her appetite, but now that she said it she didn’t want to risk being stupid and knew that she needed to continue where she had left off. ”Well I promised you I would try all the burgers and don’t want to fill up on these delicious pieces of God’s creations.” She winked at him and took a bite from an onion ring before nudging the plate back across the table toward him.
He slid his foot back over toward hers and she didn’t know what to think or say. She looked down toward her plate full of burgers and tried to not think of it too much. Lucy would flirt, she had no problem with flirting, but she didn’t want to touch. Not really, she could handle holding hands and letting him arm drape over her shoulder. She just wasn’t sure what to think about anything else. She didn’t know the steps of a relationship, she didn’t know the signs of a cute harmless flirt and a guy giving a hint he wanted in her pants. She worked around teenage boys all day and still had no clue how to handle men or read their signs.
She smiled at his remark and shook her head lightly. ”I can get you to eat salads too you know,” she replied. Not all salads were plain and boring; some salads had a lot going on and were actually really good. Sure Lucy usually would settle down at lunch or dinner with a simple green salad, but there were many different types of salads. She just preferred those because they were cheap and easy. Although every once in a while she would spoil herself with something special.
Slowly Lucy brought the five cheese burger to her mouth, she liked cheese so there was a chance she would like this burger. She took a slow bite of the burger and a smile popped up on her lips as she chewed, with her mouth close. ”This one is actually really good,” she said as she scarped down another bite. She would definitely finish this burger, and probably the one she tried prior as well, but she still had one more to try.

Mark tended to be a little dense when it came to hints sometimes, and this was no exception. He chuckled and shook his head. "Well, until Ace is deemed ready to be a little more active, I'm afraid Justice will have to find another playmate." He said gently as he sipped at his beer. Yes, he definitely didn't get the hint today.
He nudged the plate so that it sat in the middle so that the two of them could grab one whenever they wished. "Truce." He said playfully as he picked up the ketchup bottle and poured some more onto the onion ring plate before helping himself to some more.
He took in her reaction to his caressing foot and quickly took it back. She didn't know all that much about flirting, and he was afraid that she might have gotten the wrong idea with his playful foot. He didn't want her thinking sex was the only thing on his mind. yeah, he was a man, and yes he did have... urges. But he wasn't going to use her just to settle said urges. He wasn't like that. He didn't just use a woman and then throw her away. He wasn't a virgin, but all the of the girls he slept with he treated right. He wasn't just using them for his pleasure. No. He was raised to believe that you gave yourself to someone you cared about. She hadn't been raised that way though, and that's what made it so hard for Mark. She was raised to think that love wasn't real. He was definitely going to have to fix that. He was going to have to be careful about it too.
He smiled at her and shook his head weakly. "I think not. Straight men and rabbit food do not go together." He said playfully as he picked up an tiny onion ring and popped it into his mouth before he started nibbling on his fries. He ate salads every once in a while. He just wasn't one for them. He usually ended up slathering whatever salad dressing he had readily available all over the salad. He knew it came off as rude sometimes, but he couldn't help it. He just wasn't a salad person.
He looked when she voiced just how much she liked the five cheese cheeseburger. He chuckled at her as he reached for his own burger. He finished the first half in one fatal bite and watched her thoughtfully as she went in for a second bite. Mark grinned as he swallowed the burger and washed it down with a drink from his beer. "All it takes are the right flavors." He said as he wiped some mustard off his thumb with a napkin then wiped it over his mouth. He studied her with a smile of satisfaction.

She rolled her eyes at him, she would have to just give up. She wasn’t ever going to get him to take the hint that she wanted more time with him. That just meant she would have to find ways to pull him away from work and make him think it was still work so he wouldn’t flip out on her. Maybe a lunch away from the office or something would do him some good. He had enjoyed their ride today, so she knew that taking him out on rides would help him a lot. It would be best once Ace was ready, she knew if she could pull mark away he wouldn’t be able to resist his horse. She could surely coo him into a ride around the camp, even for just a few minutes to get away if he got to ride his prize Stallion. But at last, she was going to have to give up on hinting to him. He wasn’t going to pick up on it, or he already had and just didn’t want her around. Either one, she had been defeated by his persistent lack of cooperating.
He slid the plate into the middle of the table and called a truce. She figured he was finished flirting with her for now. So she didn’t press it closer to him to continue the game, he was finished, she would respect that. She grabbed an onion ring that he had hid under a layer of ketchup and brought it to her mouth. Savoring the sweet mixture of taste happening in her mouth. Sure, she enjoyed the burger but the onion rings were something new and amazing. She could easily have eaten the whole plate if she had come here alone. Of course, if she had come here alone she wouldn’t have ever ordered it, she would have eaten her salad then got up and left. ”Truce.” she agreed with him after deciding he was probably just done flirting.
Maybe she had done something wrong, she wasn’t sure. But whatever it was, had seemed to turn him away from her. She felt the quick draw of his foot and thought maybe that had been the reason. She had had a bad reaction. She felt horrible suddenly. She hadn’t meant to upset the poor fellow, she just didn’t know how to react to all this. Sure, she had resented her father, but never much more than this. Why couldn’t he have loved her, tried to protect her from boys. Right now she wished she would have lived a semi-normal life. Where maybe she had just come here to help out, not because her father abused her and sent her crazy. She thought maybe she could rekindle the moment by brushing her foot against his again. Not sexual she told herself, just harmless flirting. A first date doesn’t mean he wants sex.
She rolled her eyes at him laughing a little at his comment. ”Well straight men do eat rabbit food if the girl they like makes it especially for them.” she playfully remarked. She was hoping if she brought a fancy salad into his office one day during lunch break that he would be willing to share the salad with her. It didn’t have to be a green salad. She could make a fairly decent ambrosia salad as well. She had a whole bunch of recipes for fancy salads that included meat, some even hamburger. She would have to pull one out one day and make it for him.
Her burger seemed near perfect as she swallowed the next bite. Taking a drink of her soda to wash down the flavor that was still in the back of her mouth. She had one more bite left and was planning on savoring it. After she finished swallowing she took yet another sip of her soda and refocused her gaze on Markus. ”Well yeah, I’ve just never had the right flavors.” she said as she prepared herself to move onto the next hamburger. It was a basic BLT, she had actually had one before and thought they were pretty good, but she was still excited to get her hands on this one. She took a bite of it to find out it hadn’t been as good as she was expecting. She set it back on her plate and picked up the miniature of his burger, well the burger he used to have before he practically inhaled it.

He smiled as she called a truce as well. He looked to the food and finished off the beer before he reached to the onion rings. Their conversation quieted for a moment, which Mark didn't mind. Even if they were quiet, it was nice just to have her companionship.
He gave a little pout and sighed. "Touche, Lucy.... touche" He commented with a grin. She definitely had a good point there. If she made him a salad he would eat it. No man would not eat something their girl or woman fixed for them. That was just basically the signature for a man's death wish. He wasn't going to go through the trouble of making his own salad though. He meant it when he said he was a meat and potatoes man. He ate vegetables, just not in a salad. And generally he didn't order a salad at any form of a restaurant unless it came with the meal.
He smiled, watching her as she moved on to the next burger. He took note that she seemed a little disappointed with BLT, but he imagined it could be really disappointing after the five cheese cheeseburger. Mark had always found an interest in the Mushroom and Swiss cheese melt burger. Since he was a teen. Sometimes he ordered something else, but usually, he ordered his usual. He looked up when Annie came out with Jared's to go order and some water for Mark. He gave a soft thanks, sipping at the water before he picked up some fries and nibbled on them, smiling at Lucy thoughtfully.
This was nice. He was glad he finally got the courage to ask Lucy out. He was just so afraid that he was going to do something to screw it up. He didn't want to hurt her. She's been through enough hurt as it is, and Mark was afraid he would just add to it.

Lucy smiled curiously at Mark. He was a nice man, somebody sweet, somebody who cared. He was the kind of person Lucy needed in her life, but for some reason she just wasn’t sure what to think of him. He seemed like he was protecting her, he almost seemed like he was holding back from being himself. She wondered if regularly when Mark asked out a girl if his intention was sex, or if it was him just looking for a loving relationship with somebody who cared. She hoped he wasn’t just sweet talking her so he could have sex with her later on, but there was no way for her to be sure. She wanted to get to know him better. She wasn’t sure if this date made her his girlfriend or what. Right now, she was just the guy he liked. Damn, she wished she had more experience with guys, and then this first date definitely wouldn’t be going so awkwardly.
Lucy had so many thoughts spinning in her head. She really didn’t know what to think. She was confused about him. How he acted toward her. She was happy that he admitted he would eat a salad if she made it for him though. She would be making him salads. She was somebody who thought a person should have at least a light salad every day. It was just healthier for them. Surely she wanted him to be healthy, it was very important in a time like this. Especially since his father had had a heart attack. Mark didn’t have the best genes in the gene pool, and could easily die of a heart attack, so while he was still young, Lucy wanted to keep him healthy.
She gave him a weak smile as the silence crept in over them. She wasn’t sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. She picked up the rest of the BLT and ate it, it wasn’t the worst meat in the world she had had. She must have not chewed a piece thoroughly though, because she started choking on it. Well not really choking, because she was coughing. Trying to get it out of her windpipe. She coughed it hard and it wouldn’t come out. She reached for a sip of her sprite to push it out, but ended up coughing it up. Her face turned beat red from a mixture of embarrassment and the fact she was having trouble breathing. She wished she hadn’t been drawing so much attention to herself, surely that wasn’t her purpose.
Lucy reached her arm around her stomach and squeezed it a little, hoping to get the large bit of burger out of her throat. Finally she was able to cough it up. She gave it another bite and swallowed it. Reaching for a drink of the sprite she waited for the redness in her face to die down. ”Sorry,” she quietly spoke to Mark without looking at her. Surely he wouldn’t be happy she had drawn attention to the two. Her father hated when she drew attention to herself. She wished she had been a turtle right then so she could pull herself into her shell and slowly make her way out of here. She pushed away her plate of meat finding it no longer appetizing.

The silence wasn't awful. The two of them ate in peace for a while. Mark would have liked a little more conversation, but he was at a loss of what to say at the moment.
Mark looked up from his food when he heard her start to cough. He frowned and swallowed quickly before he scooted out and moved over to her side of the booth. She was choking on her food. Not good. He turned himself so that he was facing her and he patted her back to try and help to dislodge whatever she was eating. He wasn't sure if he should try anything like the Heimlich or something. She seemed to manage it on her own though. He shook his head and took a napkin from the dispenser to wipe some of the sprite she got on her off her face. "Don't be sorry. Not something you had much control over." He said gently as he comfortingly rubbed her back. He had suffered from such incidents before. It could be a scary experience. And painful to. "You okay?" He asked gently, concern filling his voice.
He looked up when Annie came over. He gave a weak smile and asked for two more to go boxes. Annie just nodded, looking over Lucy in concern before she turned to go get their check and doggy bags. Mark glanced around before looking back to Lucy. There were people looking. Which wasn't such a big deal. No one was moving to come over and talk to them, but still. As long as no body bothered them Mark didn't mind the little incident.
Annie came back, handing Mark the check and the doggy bags. He looked to Lucy with a weak smile and offered her one of the doggy bags for her to put her left overs in before he put what was left of his burger and his fries in the box. He looked to her with a playful grin as he put the left over onion rings in her box. "I'll exchange these for the barbecue burger." He said playfully as he took said burger and set it in his box. He wasn't really a big germs freak. He and Jared drank and ate after each other all the time. It was a normal thing for the Martin men.

She was happy that he had come over to her. He gently patting her back didn’t bother her at all either. At least he was caring about her. As he wiped her face gently she looked over at him, why was he doing this. Why was he so caring? She wasn’t quite sure. She just knew that she liked the way that he cared so much. Some people would have just sit there and watched, but he moved over to her. The closeness of him didn’t bother her at all either. She actually enjoyed it a little bit. Looking at him, she wasn’t sure what to say. His sweetness had just shocked her. She wasn’t used to people being so nice to her, maybe some people would have come and patted her back. But she doubted most would have also wiped the soda off of her face.
She felt her hands start to shake a little and hid them under the table. The waitress came and he spoke to her. She just watched him. ”Thank you,” she wasn’t really sure what to say other than that. ”I’m.. I.. I’m ok.. yeah..” she said, noticing how weak her voice sounded. She just looked at him, really not sure how to go about any of this. Why was he doing this all, he was being so sweet. As much as she knew he wasn’t trying to, he did make it difficult for her. She looked at him, she couldn’t believe the spell he had cast over her. She felt like her head was spinning, but knew she was perfectly still. She felt the palms of her hand get a little sweaty, and instantly she knew what she wanted to do. She just wasn’t sure if she could do it.
She looked at him and watched his hand as he took the burger, just nodding along with him. She smiled at him and let him place the burger in his box while he set some onion rings in hers. She really didn’t feel any need to put the food in the box. She just looked at him, he probably thought she was a freak. She really needed to do it though, so she did. She slid her hand up to the side of his face, gently holding his cheek and she kissed him. She thought it would be the best way to thank him for being so sweet to her, and she knew she wanted to. In the office she almost had, she couldn’t deny she would have kissed back, but he stopped. It only seemed like he was waiting for her to kiss him, so she did. It was just a gentle, sweet kiss.

He studied her for a moment, making sure she really was okay. She seemed a little shaky though. As a matter of fact, she looked like she was about to pass out. He wasn't going to ask if she was sure. If she needed help she would ask. He pet some of her hair out of her face and tucked it behind an ear gently. "You don't need to thank me." He murmured softly as he looked over her face in concern. His lips lifted up in a weak smile though.
He smiled at her, as he just dumped the fries into his to go box once the burgers were settled. He studied her face curiously as her hand laid over his cheek. He realized then that he needed a bit of a shave. His cheeks and chin were a bit scraggly. He hadn't really had the time or energy to shave. He was wishing he had taken the time now though. What happened next really surprised him. She moved in to kiss him and he happily obliged her. It was a sweet, gentle kiss, but Mark decided he would push his luck a little. She might like what he was about to do, and she might not. He knew that he would soon be finding out. His hand softly cupped her head at her hairline, tangling his hand into her soft, silky hair before he deepened the kiss a little. Not a lot. He added another thin layer of tenderness and a little pressure to her lips. He didn't want to go too far. He knew this was a big step for her to kiss him, and he didn't want to ruin it.

She felt his chin, not smooth, but it wasn’t bad either. She felt his hand get tangled in her hair, just gently. Then he pulled her lips closer to his. She wasn’t sure what to think of it. Her first reaction was to just pull away so she did. Instantly she knew it was a mistake, she had over reacted to it. She looked down to watch her shoes under the table. Her face turned a deep red. She wasn’t sure why she had pulled away from him so quickly. She felt like an idiot for doing it though. Lucy didn’t know what she wanted; she just knew she had enjoyed kissing him. His lips were soft against hers she liked it, she just thought that she wasn’t ready to move it further. Of course, he hadn’t pushed her very far she just wasn’t sure how far he would push it so had decided to cut it off then.
She knew she was probably being ridiculous; most females wouldn’t have pulled away. She felt bad about it. She leaned into him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Still not paying attention to her food, she probably would try to give him it anyway; she knew she wouldn’t eat it if she took it home. One of the other staff members she shared the cabin with would probably end up eating it. She would try to give him the food to take home. She felt like slamming her head into the table. Why had she pulled away? She wanted to kiss him again, kissing him was an addicting feeling. She felt like if she did kiss him though he would probably reject her, especially now.
She looked at him and let out a long sad sigh. ”I’m sorry, I’m not really sure why I pulled away,” she admitted to him. She felt really bad for doing it, she really wished she hadn’t. Why had she? She was such an idiot. She wanted to kiss him over and over again. She just wasn’t sure how far to go. She didn’t want to move to fast and give him the wrong idea about her and end up just getting used and hurt. She liked Mark, but she was still scared. Why did her father have to fuck her up so badly?
