Full name: Markus Jeremiah Martins
Age: 23
Birthday: March 24
Experience: Expert
Riding Interest: Cross Country, Showing, Endurance Racing
Favorite Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Appearance: Unfortunately for Mark, he stands at about 5'9". He's not very fond of that fact considering that 5'9" is short for a guy, but he deals. His hair is a dirty blond, sometimes, depending on the lighting, it takes a brown look to it, but out in the sunshine or in brighter spaces it takes on its natural color. He has a somewhat muscular figure from football days in high school and he still keeps the muscles by exercising on a regular basis when he has the time. As for clothing, he keeps it pretty casual for the most part. Even when he goes out for whatever reason, he keeps it casual. He calls it dressy casual when he dresses up a little.

History [must be at least 2 paragraphs, at 7 sentences each]:
Markus Martins was born on a cool spring morning in march to Jared and Willow. Willow had been in the stable offices working on the ledgers when her water broke. If one of the stable hands hadn't been with her then she may very well have had Markus there at the stables. The stable hand rushed her to Brooke Haven General and it was there, after a day and a half of labor and pain that Markus was brought into the world, welcomed by the smiling faces of Jared and Willow. They had a nice little family, and Markus loved being with the horses. He loved being with animals in general, but he loved being around the horses. He inherited Jared's love for the large giants.
So Markus grew up on the rescue farm. He constantly followed Jared around when he was working and helped him out with the chores like repairing fences and feeding the rescue horses of the stables. Willow had to practically drag him out of the stables when he was younger. He liked spending time with Willow too though. Every night she would read him some Cat in the Hat story or Ferdinand till he fell asleep. Willow took care of any scrapes or tears Mark may have gotten in his little accidents. They were sort of like a model family just about. But that would soon change and his world would come crashing down at just the age of seven.
After Markus's mother's death, Markus seemed to fall into this destructive behavior. He lashed out, and Jared never really did anything to punish him because of his own grief, but Mark never grieved in the quiet, depressing way Jared had. Mark made trouble. Pulled all sorts of pranks at school when he was younger. When he got older he did things like rolled and egged houses with a group of friends he had made at school after Willow's death. He went cow tipping. Leaving bags of burning fecal matter on people's porches. The thing that seemed to snap Jared out of his depression was when Mark got caught at the school one night, spray painting obscenities and inappropriate things on windows and the walls. This wasn't the first time Markus had been caught making trouble, and they had let the first time slide, but the second time was only a year later, and there were many people who were accusing Mark of other things that couldn't really be pinned on him. Everyone knew he did it though. So they sentenced Mark to volunteer work for two hundred hours. The first thing he had to do was wash and paint away the things he and his friends did at the school. Only two of the five got caught, but Mark wouldn't talk and neither would the two boys, so they both ended up cleaning up their mess and then spent their days cleaning up the main highway that ran through Brooke Haven till their hours were up.
This seemed to be what gave Jared the idea of Willow Brooke. Jared built the idea up from the ground, naming part of the camp after his wife and the mother of his child. And as soon as the school was open, Mark was the first to be enrolled there. Mark didn't mind as much as most of the kids that were there would have though. Being with the horses helped him heal his grieving heart. By the time he was finished at Willow Brooke he was about fifteen. He went back to the public school and finished his schooling. He went to a community college in Bozeman so he could come home on the weekends. He took some courses for running businesses so that he could one day take Jared's position as owner and manager if and when the time came. When he was finished with his college days he came home to live with Jared and take up a position as a riding instructor at the camp, where he now currently resides.
