Why You are here: Almost committed suicide
Horse: Pick one or two horses you may like your character to have (keep in mind that you may not necessarily get one of them)
Riding Experience: Expert
Appearance:
One of the first things that people notice about Adrienne is her rare eye coloring, violet. Some people think that it's just contacts since nobody else in her family has that eye color, but it is her true eye color caused by genetic mutations. She just sees it as something that makes her more unique and helps her stand out among the crowd of people who just want to be boring normal people. Her long black hair almost always has red or green or blue, or even a combination of the three, streaks in it.
She usually wears whatever is comfortable. She loves ratty worn jeans. They're nice and comfy. She almost always has a vintage band tee or graphic tee on to go with the worn jeans. Converses of course. She loves them, and they are well worn.

It's not so easy for her. She lost one of the very most important people in her life and it hurt because it was her fault. At least that's the way she felt and still feels. Her mother's death is her fault. She normally just keeps quite and locks herself away somewhere where she can sketch or stick her nose in a book. Books are her safe have just as much as her sketches. In them she can be whoever or whatever she wants.

History [must be 2 paragraphs]:Adrienne was born in a small Greek village. She never knew it well though because when she was still just a baby her, her parents, and her brother all moved to the States for a better life, and they definitely found one. Her father became one of the best lawyers in the state and they lived happily. Her mother was a stay at home mom and took really good care of her and her brother. Adrienne and her mother even formed a great bond with each other. It was the best thing she could ever have. A happy family and amazing friends.
She had a love of horses. They owned a small barn so that she could house her horse in there. She even competed a few times out of the year. Through the years she gained any knowledge she could. She soon became a well experienced rider and continued her riding and competing.
During the summers they would go visit her grandparents in Greece. The last summer she was there was when her life began to spiral out of control. One night her and her mother were out enjoying the evening in Athens. They were in a horrible car wreck that instantly killed her mother and put her into a coma for two and a half weeks. When they were finally home, Jason and Nicholas noticed that she was more withdrawn. She wasn't the same happy, outspoken girl she used to be. She spent most of her days tucked away in her room, hiding from civilization. As the months drew on she became more and more withdrawn falling into a deep depression. Eventually, her father gave up and sold her horse to someone who would actually care.
They noticed that she kept her arms covered after a while. She would lock herself up in her bathroom and cut herself. One night while her brother was out and her father working late at work she was in the bathroom cutting herself. She slitted her wrists, and had her father been another hour late, she may very well have died. When she came back home from the hospital a second time her father said that was that and he was sending her away to a lovely rehabilitation type place, which brings us to her current situation.

Deep, dark, brooding violet eyes scanned the scenery that flew by her dad's rental car. A sketch book and pencil were poised in her lap with the sketch book open to her latest work of art. It wasn't exactly the brightest of images though. It was sketched according to her feelings. Dim, dark, and bleak. Adrienne's father had taken notice of it earlier and had only grimaced and continued driving without saying a word. He knew two Greek tempers would never solve anything. It would only wedge an even bigger gap between his daughter and him right now.
He just wanted his daughter back . The happy clairvoyant one that always had a smile plastered on her face, and had a love for the horses, and hopefully Evergreen Healing Facility would do the trick. He cleared his throat gently and glanced at Colette as she continued watching the Montana scenery whisk by. "A change of scenery is what you need. It'll do you some good." He said gently in that ever so thick Greek accent.
She rolled her eyes and just kept watching the scenery. She made a mental tick in her head counting out how many times he had said that in the past two days. She was starting to get tired of it, but she was just starting to let it run through one ear and out the other. She just sighed in reply and looked down at her sketch pad. She glanced at the scars across her wrists before she pulled the sleeve over it and then pulled out her iPod and plugged the ear buds into her ears and started to sketch again.
She didn't realize how long she had been stuck in her thoughts when something in her peripheral vision caught her attention. Her head snapped up as they turned into a drive flanked on both sides by fences that contained horses. Her head tilted gently as she watched a few that they passed. She had always thought horses such majestic animals, but she hadn't been on the back of a horse in nearly a year. She wasn't so sure she would be able to take care of the horse she would be assigned. Crap, she could hardly take care of herself much less a horse ten times her size. She figured they would send her packing by the second week. She looked to the ranch that they drew closer to and her head again tilted as she watched it. She saw someone leading one horse into the stables and another riding out. This was her future. "Not much of a future." She thought watching a small group of horses grazing in one field.
