She smiled weakly, nodding his head gently. Memories of her and Macy and their rides on the beach filled her mind as she braided the tail gently. "My horse would run out into the water and just keep going and going if I let her." She said gently as she carefully wrapped a band around the tail once she was done. She stood back well out of Calliope's reach as she rubbed at her knuckles thoughtfully. Her fingers carefully circled and kneaded the cramping flesh and muscles, soothing the cramps out of them. Thoughts of Macy filled her mind, saddening her a little. She kind of wished she hadn't let her father sell the mare, but it hadn't been fair to the sweety. Adrienne had ignored her and the stable for months before her father finally gave up and sold Macy. It hadn't been an easy sight to watch her new owners drive her off in a trailer, but Adrienne had wanted nothing to do with horses or horse-back riding in general after her mother's death.
Calliope seemed to sense Adrienne meloncholy attitude before she tried to turn herself towards Adrienne and nudge her. Adrienne snapped out of her thoughts and looked to Calliope, moving to her head. She stroked a hand along the mare's muzzle, stroking the soft velvety nose in a gesture of thanks for her concern.
